I have a degree in Math Education from Broward College. I am currently a teacher at a High School in Davie, Florida. I teach Geometry to all grades, and am proficient at Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Math for College Readiness, Liberal Arts Math 1 and 2, and Financial Algebra. This is my 11th year teaching. I have two children that are in the Broward County Public School system, so I am very aware of the concepts on the standardized tests and the EOC's.

I had TERRIBLE math teachers growing up, so I understand the need for someone who breaks down the concepts into bite size pieces. If a student is not understanding the way I'm explaining it, I try a different approach, depending on their learning style.

The one thing you can say about me is I know my content, but I don't speak "Math Speak". I speak to the student like we are friends so they feel comfortable and can learn.

I know my content, but I relate to students more so than my counterparts. I think this is because I have two teenagers in high school. Being able to teach my own children, my students at high school, and adults that I tutor give me great communication skills. My strengths lie in Algebra 1 and Geometry, and any derivative thereof.

I will help you pass your class, do your homework, and pass the EOC or standardized test that is looming before you! Don't get discouraged! Get help! I look forward to working with you, but book now. I only have a limited amount of slots per week, as I am also an in person tutor in the local area.
