Rider University (Marine Biology)
Hello world. I majored in Marine Biology during undergrad which allowed me to teach coral reef ecology and biology to adult and high school students in the Bahamas. I have also worked in several aquariums and volunteered on many ecology trips throughout Central America and the Caribbean.
After struggling to find a stable marine biology job, I decided to go into Microbiology. I worked as a microbiologist for 4 years before becoming a Laboratory Manager in south Florida. My passion is still in teaching the public and I do so on a regularly basis, specifically about microbiological topics now. I hope to be able to help any students who could be struggling in the biological sciences so that perhaps one day they can achieve their goals and dreams as well.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
