My calling in life is to teach. Although I am completing DROP in the public school system I want to continue to teach. I have a MS in Education and am qualified to teach gifted students. I am certified also in all English and Social Studies classes. I have taught English to foreign language speakers as well as Advanced Grammar at Trinity International University. I have coached Football, Basketball, Softball, Baseball and Cross Country. I also served as Athletic Director at Hollywood Hills High School for 13 years, and Athletic Director in Illinois for 3 years. I'm good with Computer programs and currently I'm finishing up my High School teaching career by teaching students with a computer program called Edmentum, a class recovery class. So far this year I have over 200 students who have replaced failing grades with B's or A's and I have another 100 to help complete the courses before the end of this school year.
I can begin immediately after school and/or Saturdays. I have been tutoring students on a regular basis with no pay for over 30 years. I am very healthy and have regular physicals.
Since 1969 I have been teaching and tutoring students in English and Social Studies. Although the tutoring was within the high school I have all of the qualifications and experience to tutor. Currently I have taught and tutored over 200 students this school year who have passed and will now be in a position to graduate from high school.

My students say, "you teach history because you are history". In addition I can teach basic skills for Football, Basketball, and Baseball. My calling in life is to teach. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
