My calling in life is to teach. Although I am completing DROP in the public school system I want to continue to teach. I have a MS in Education and am qualified to teach gifted students. I am certified also in all English and Social Studies classes. I have taught English to foreign language speakers as well as Advanced Grammar at Trinity International University. I have coached Football, Basketball, Softball, Baseball and Cross Country. I also served as Athletic Director at Hollywood Hills High School for 13 years, and Athletic Director in Illinois for 3 years. I'm good with Computer programs and currently I'm finishing up my High School teaching career by teaching students with a computer program called Edmentum, a class recovery class. So far this year I have over 200 students who have replaced failing grades with B's or A's and I have another 100 to help complete the courses before the end of this school year.

I can begin immediately after school and/or Saturdays. I have been tutoring students on a regular basis with no pay for over 30 years. I am very healthy and have regular physicals.

Since 1969 I have been teaching and tutoring students in English and Social Studies. Although the tutoring was within the high school I have all of the qualifications and experience to tutor. Currently I have taught and tutored over 200 students this school year who have passed and will now be in a position to graduate from high school.

I understand and speak a little Spanish but I don't depend on that to teach. In Chicago, at a church mission, I taught English one night a week in a store front building. It was packed. Merchants were taking advantage of people so we taught them the basics of English. However, I can also help students prepare for college and/or jobs at any level.

My students say, "you teach history because you are history". In addition I can teach basic skills for Football, Basketball, and Baseball.
