About Donna

I am an enthusiastic teacher dedicated to creating a professional learning environment that is safe, nurturing and challenging. I specialize in academic tutoring. My goal is to help each student succeed and reach their full potential. By creating a dynamic learning environment, I can guide each student through the transitional process of gaining success and independence.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design Degree from Maine College of Art. My expertise in the arts includes painting, drawing, photography and graphic design. My love of teaching through creativity and self expression comes from my own passion for the arts. I have earned a Master of Science Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Nova Southeastern University. I have taught for 25 years in both private and public schools.

I can help in implementing strategies for academic success. I offer tutoring services in ACT, GED, Common Core Standards, Autism, ADHD, and Elementary K-12 subjects. I have found that working in a public library is very effective and a convenient place to tutor. I also provide academic and art materials, and social support to enhance learning.

I look forward to meeting with you and discussing ways I could best serve your educational and creative needs.
