Donna is very patient and really knows how to work with special needs students. She is very patient and knows what and how to tutor my son who is in second grade. She showed up with the right tools and she was very encouraging to him. I will be hiring her on a regular basis.
Donna is so friendly and knowledgeable! My little girl took to her immediately as did I. I was thoroughly impressed by her personality and knowledge base!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
