Wartburg College Waverly Iowa (Spanish)
I am a young energetic teacher. I currently teach High School Spanish 1 and 2 in Forsyth County. What my students like best about me is my ability to teach to all learners. I use a variety of methods from storytelling, visuals, group activities, songs to help with memorization, and basic grammar tricks to help students pass any test. I pride myself in giving students the confidence they need to speak, write, and understand the Spanish at their level. Not only can I get you or your child excited about learning Spanish currently, but hopefully give you/them the confidence and excitement to continue to learn and strive to be the best you/they can be. Kacey engages well with the student! She has provided excellent one on one support. Without her (and a good teacher at school) this engagement would not have been possible.
Kacey is a great tutor. She was on time, ready to work, and knowledgeable in the subject matter. She is very easy to talk to. We enjoy having her in our home.
Kacey has exceeded expectations. She is prompt, professional and committed to excellence in her field of expertise. My child has benefited from her tutoring. I would recommend her highly to anyone who needs their child tutored in Spanish.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have studied Spanish for over 10 years and I continue to use it everyday in the classroom, with colleagues, and outside of work with friends. I have traveled abroad to a Spanish-speaking country 4 times and am planning my next trip. I know what it is like learning a second language and how to lesson the frustration.
