I am an Adjunct Professor at SPC (St. Petersburg College) at the Clearwater, Tarpon Springs and Seminole Campuses. I currently teach Applied Ethics, Critical Thinking and Ethics History, within the structure of a State of Florida Gordon Rule Writing course. I have individually tutored not only my SPC students, but several K-12 students for numerous years. I always receive excellent student feedback, because I am dedicated to individual student success via the methods that work best for his/her personal learning style. I also believe it's my responsibility to ensure my students are always actively engaged and enjoying learning! Teaching never feels like work to me because I enjoy it; therefore I want my students to feel the same. I tutor in a low-pressure, relaxed and optimistic atmosphere, with every confidence that working as partners in learning, WE will succeed! ALL student questions are always valid. We will accomplish much and have fun on the way!
I have worked as an Editor, Quality Assurance Manager, Medical Transcriptionist, Proofreader, Employee and Client/Patient Educator, Public Speaker and Writer in the healthcare arena throughout a 30 year career. I am an expert in grammar, spelling, English usage, writing skills and proofreading. I can help you improve your writing easily and quickly! Good writing requires skills that can be learned and improved with practice, just like many other genres in life! You CAN do it! You can become a good writer with determination, knowledge of "the fundamentals", practice and belief in yourself.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
