I have tutored chemistry off and on for many years and have a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I also work as a chiropractor and work in the field of natural health. I am always eager to help out students with their studies and try to help students find their way to understand problems they are trying to figure out.

Math is a skill that takes a lot of practice, but to reduce the amount of practice needed (or to reduce the learning curve) practical experience make the learning process much easier. Finding real-world application to math problems is typically my go-to trick to help ease students into the world of mathematics.

Science is simply a tool that makes the physical world become more accessible to human life. It helps humans have a better relationship with the natural world. By doing so, the human experience on earth becomes more interesting and potentially improved. Of course, it's merely a tool, and like all tools it can be used for good or bad. As humans, we use science for our food, medicine, shelter, among other necessities. The better one learns of science and how other sciences co-relate with each-other, the more useful a person can be to an employer seeking individuals who are well skilled at science. Learning science takes patience and much desire. It is using the brain in a challenging manner that once learned it can never be forgotten. You may forget certain aspects of science, but what is typically well retained is the ability to learn, the ability to solve problems by using the tool that is science. This is what I strive my students to learn, the ability to think critically in a logical and scientific manner. This way they can be their own tutors and teachers in the future.
