About Donald

I am a successful teacher on both the secondary school and college levels. I have taught French, German, Spanish, English as a Second Language, English grammar/composition, and public speaking. I presently teach part-time on the university level. I like to work in a small-class atmosphere, so the student can achieve his/her best potential.

My teaching duties have been at Drew University in Madison, NJ; The University of Delaware in Newark, DE; the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA; Valley Forge Military Academy & College in Wayne, PA; St. Paul's School in Garden City, NY; Touro College in New York City; Berkeley College in White Plains, NY; Norwalk Community College in Norwalk, CT; and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.

I have tutored students privately in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I am particularly interested in working with students to develop their public speaking skills.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
