Hello!!! I have been actively pursuing higher learning for the past 10 years. Every time I turn around I find some sort of knowledge that I have to acquire, so I go to school for it. Medical sciences is my biggest achievement this far, however I love literature, math, and other sciences. I feel that our brains are super absorbent sponges ready to absorb, especially when the subject is taught at the students speed and interests included.
While in college I completed anatomy 1 and 2, physiology 1 and 2, and my love for biology has also been completed by not only basic college coursework but also on the job training while gaining the medical certifications I have.
English is such a huge part of an American life and if you are unable to pronounce or understand then it will make it difficult to accomplish daily functions, like building a resume or writing a letter (a lost art form it seems :-) ).
Today's children are our tomorrow's leaders. If a child can accomplish a small goal set for them, then they are able to move forward and accomplish leaps and bounds in their education at a young age, then I feel that when they continue on to higher education because they truly love education and the knowledge that they have gained, then I feel as though I have done my job.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
