I moved to the United States with my family nine years ago. The initial idea to become a German tutor originated while taking ESL classes for myself during my first year in Boston.

Teaching was already part of my working life when I worked for Deutsche Telekom in Germany. I’m a certificated training supervisor to train teens and young adults for their working life as industrial clerks, office management and retails salesman. Becoming a German language tutor/ teacher combines two things I’m passionate about: teaching and the German language!

I have been a German tutor for four years now, mostly for private students and small groups, from absolute beginners to advanced learners. For me it is exciting to watch the growing ability and confidence of my students to communicate and write in German.

Learning in a relaxed, enjoyable and fun way is an important part of my teaching approach. I plan the lessons for each student individually, depending on development goals and skill level.
