St. Louis University (MedTech and Biology)
My love of teaching comes from a lifelong of learning. I graduated college with both a Medical Technology degree and a Biology degree with a minor in Math, and have 3 certifications: MT/ASCP, CISSP and SAP. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate I learned that hard work and persistence in learning can lead to a successful and interesting career.
I started helping others early in college to share 2 of my passions as a Biology Laboratory Teacher Assistant as well as a CYC Volleyball Coach to my younger sister's 7th and 8th grade teams. I volunteered as tutor to prisoners to achieve their GED. I had the pleasure to become a Girl Scout Leader to share with girls what I learned as a child to "Be prepared" and "to know how to do the job well, even in an emergency".
I tutor Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. I can also tutor up to Spanish 2 and I can proofread advanced level writing.
I am available for tutoring most days 9AM-8PM. I can travel to students or meet them online. My base rate is $65/hour for in-person lessons

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I used Microsoft outlook as an IT professional everyday for as long as it was available. I scheduled all my appointments with alerts, creating meetings with/without skype, sorted emails, configured what columns showed for emails and in what order, invited others to attend meetings, changed meetings and either sent updated to all attendees or just added/deleted attendees, reserved conference rooms for the meeting by adding room as required resource. Configured BCC as well as To/From/CC. Sort email. Search emails. Reminders. Flagged emails. Created rules to move emails to a folder automatically, and many other functionality and uses.
I had a minor in math in college, which included Prealgebra, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
