I love helping others and have had a life long experience of learning. I graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Criminology and Psychology, and a minor in the Classics. I then attended law school at the University of Miami, where I obtained my law degree. I have a passion for any and all things relating to the English language, including vocabulary, grammar, writing, etc. I also love teaching social studies and history.
I hope to help students not only improve their grades, but also enjoy learning. For that reason, I ask for feedback and will discount lessons if a parent or student is not satisfied with my tutoring.
I am more than happy to tutor students at their home, the local library, Starbucks, or any other location that is quiet, comfortable and convenient for the student. I do have a 12 hour cancellation policy, but I am more than willing to offer make-up classes.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
