“**Excellent teacher**”

I am going to keep it simple. My tutoring business is all about showing the step-by-step process of solving any kind of mathematics problems. I noticed over time that many teachers and professors do not show all necessary

Knowing math and teaching math are two different things,Tim is knowledgeable and a great teacher. He is very attentive and was true to his word regarding helpful insight into the inner workings of math, step by step instruction and is very good (not vague!) when it comes to explaining processes and formulas. This is what can help turn a math-hater into a math-sorta-liker :) after trying 3 other tutors we finally found the competence we were seeking, in Tim.

Tim helped me to regain knowledge that I had forgotten and was having a difficult time getting a grip on by myself. He is a very knowledgeable tutor. I would recommend him for pre calculus and I am saying this after just one session.

He helps me do things on an assignment basis and helps me understand concepts at my own pace and doesn't make me feel stupid for not understanding.

My daughter enjoys the lessons and feels more confident about her skills. Tim identified why she's not been successful with timed tests and is working to help her resolve that issue.

My son had a great lesson! He came back with more understanding then what his teacher at school could of provided. He looks forward to his next session. Thanks Tim for being affordable and patient!

Tim is helping get Ian up to date in his course but also preparing him for future parts of the curriculum.

Ian appears to be gaining confidence!

Thank you! Zach really enjoyed the lesson today. He said you explained things and helped him understand concepts he was missing from class.

We look forward to the next session.

An excellent tutor. Tim worked with me to help get the environment established. He also referenced material for independent study and exercise/practice in regards to SQL.

Tim is great. My son loves working with him because he knows what he's talking about and does so in a calm manner. He is very patient and does a wonderful job at explaining the skills to my son. So happy we found Tim to tutor our son in pre calculus.

Tim was a great tutor. He covered AP calculus and helped her further her understanding of concepts she was struggling with. She feels prepared for her next lesson and exam.

Tim was very nice and patient. I used him for Calculus and he is very knowledgeable. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Tim is tutoring my son in Algebra II, and my son says that Tim is very knowledgeable and has a great teaching style. He's patient and very helpful as they work through the algebraic processes. My son also likes that Tim gives hints to help him remember the next step rather than just telling him the answer.

Tim has been working with my son for the past week helping him prepare for the SAT. My son is not strong in math and plain hates it! When I asked my son how the sessions were going he told me how helpful and patient Tim has been showing him how to tackle each problem through logic, reasoning, and mathematical problem solving.

Tim has been prompt and willing to meet in locations that work for us. I am pleased with the attention, patience, and knowledge he is giving my son as he approaches an assessment as important as this one.

This was my daughter's first session with Mr. T. She feels confident going into tomorrow's calculus exam after reinforcing concepts with Mr. T. He arrived early and responded to messages quickly. We will definitely use him again.

We are very impressed with Tim all around. He responded very quickly to my email. We set a time and date. He was on time and prepared. He is an excellent young man and a wonderfully sharp tutor. So very pleased. Thank you so much for the help.

My son's whole attitude has improved. I can not thank you enough Tim. I am so happy. I know he's going to graduate because of your help.

Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I possesses the ability to recognize how to solve ACT math problems. I recognize problem descriptions, implement algebra concepts, and apply algebra concepts to real-world problems. I possess Critical Thinking skills for ACT Mathematics.

My algebra 1 qualifications include and are not limited to 5 plus years of experience tutoring this subject among other mathematics subjects. Specifically, I began tutoring this course since I was taking it myself junior year of high school.

My qualifications include and are not limited to 5 plus years of mathematics tutoring in pre-algebra, geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, advanced algebra and college algebra.

I love Calculus! As a matter of fact, over the past five years of tutoring I enjoyed tutoring calculus more than others! I love tutoring every subject, but calculus is at the top !

Within pursuing my bachelors degree in mathematics, I had the liberty of taking various computer science courses. Within my degree of mathematics, computer programming was involved in my numerical analysis class heavily. Also, in my senior level Abstract Algebra courses, they have many computer science applications with Cryptography being one of the biggest applications. In the midst of that, learning the language of Java was definitely a journey of mine. Also, I am currently pursuing a Masters in Information Systems & Technology where I am using my mathematics intuition to apply towards computer science classes like Systems Analysis and Design, Information Technology Infrastructure and Programming Concepts. In the midst of my Masters, so far I have learned how to program in HTML and SQL Server.

I possess over 5 plus years of tutoring mathematics at the elementary mathematics level.

I am qualified for this subject matter because I have ample experience in tutoring this subject. I was an adjunct faculty for college level August of 2013. I also obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.

I have five years plus with geometry tutoring.

Pre-algebra is a subject in mathematics that requires mastery before moving forward into college level mathematics. In addition to my 5 years of experience, pre algebra is the foundation of everything else and it is one of the subject I specialize in.

I believe that experience is the best teacher and with that being said, the year 2009 began my tutoring spree beginning with college mathematics including pre-calculus.

I began learning about how to play trumpet in 8th grade which was around the year 2000. Ever since then I kept playing it the rest of middle school, all throughout high school and all of college. I still play to this day.
