As an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) certified educator in the State of Florida, I have taught high school math, adult GED classes, and tutored multiple students across Palm Beach County. I have also worked with children from preschool through high school in a variety of informal educational settings. I thoroughly enjoy working with kids and regard one-on-one tutoring as a great way for students to reinforce their learning and make positive learning gains.
I specialize in math from middle grades through Geometry, grammar, and am able to teach guitar as well. I make a concerted effort to convey all material in ways in which my students will be able to firmly grasp and am known to be very patient.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a child I was raised in a Hebrew speaking household, attended a Jewish school where several subjects were taught in Hebrew, and lived in Israel for three years of high school and one year of university. I have taught Hebrew School in Washington DC (Adas Israel) and in three different schools in Palm Beach County (Temple Beth El Religious School, Temple Israel, and JI). I currently am raising my own son in Hebrew and have taught him to read and write.
