I have my B.A. from Wellesley College, where I majored in psychology. I moved to Florida in 2007 after running two small businesses (a women's clothing line and an interior design business). I have excellent communication skills, and enjoy helping others to feel confident in their abilities. I love helping people express themselves creatively.
My teaching style is very interactive and I enjoy getting to know my students and their personal objectives and goals. Everyone learns a little differently, and I teach according to my students' needs.

Liz helped me learn easier methods to cutting fabric, she also showed me some tools that would make it easier and more convenient. She was very informative and very nice, I look forward to my next lesson with her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
