I offer 30+ years of experience leading highly complex, mixed methodology, projects to successful completion. I place special emphasis on leading teams to meet business objectives.
My early career began as a hardware and software development engineer, which lead to ever-increasing leadership roles. After the stock market collapse of 2001, I founded the MultiMedia Republic, an independent project management consultancy. Clients included Motorola, a prime-contractor for the U.S. Armed Forces, and the South Florida Water Management District. I held a Top Secret Special Access (SA) clearance with the U.S. Army, and I am a former Vice President of Education for the Project Management Institute's South Florida Chapter.
I wrote the Project Management undergraduate Program for Taft University, a contributing author of PMI's Program Management Standard, I authored 'Managing Expectations" in ISSIG Review (2007), Vol. I, no. 2. which was cited in a best selling book, "Managing Complex Projects: A New Model.” By Kathleen B. Hass.
I teach tools and methods -- but when it comes to leading teams, I place special emphasis on the soft skills. The latter may be conveyed in a conversation or two -- but most often calls for mentoring.
Lastly, I am Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and Scrum Master (SCM) certified.
My hobby is chess and my passion is teaching.
