My experience consists of teaching math concepts to students who are preparing for either classroom or standardized testing. In addition, I have experience in teaching business and finance lessons to professionals. My teaching methodology is to assess your level of understanding of the material, present the information to you clearly and concisely, check for your understanding, repeat the information if necessary, and to be supportive of your learning. I try to use humor in my lessons to keep them light.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
