About Rudy

Working hard and studying has always been the driving mechanism for my academic success. Wanting to demonstrate the value of a strong education is something I care about. As being in the top 5% of my engineering class, I know what it takes to be successful in both mathematics and science.

While being active as a tutor in honor societies such as Tau Beta Pi and ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), I have a strong sense of time management which is something I try to emphasize to all my students. Tutoring is a great passion of mine as well as a major entity to my academic appreciation.

Until I entered high-school, my desire to learn wasn't like it is now. In both elementary and middle school I struggled in almost all my classes, I was a student that never acknowledged the significance of learning. Not only was it to hard for me to be interested in math, it was more difficult for me to pay attention to any material taught in the classroom. But through self experience and a few good teachers, my value of learning unleashed my potential to success. I was able to graduate high-school with Magna Cum Laude while working a full-time job. Most of the students I tutor are experiencing the same challenges I had to overcome, therefore I can relate as well as accommodate one's frustration.

My schedule can be flexible all the way up until the last couple of weeks of my semester.

To guarantee the most suitable learning environments, I have full access to FAU facilities including the library, math-center, and the best engineering study rooms available. Nevertheless, I will most certainly travel to another location more convenient for the student.

I qualify to tutor in K-12 math courses, as well as advanced courses such as Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Differential Equations, Probabilities & Statistics for Engineers, General Chemistry.

Though math should be taken seriously, I am a very fun and enthusiastic individual that knows how to interact and most of all reduce the agony of learning math!
