I have significant experience in the art and science of public speaking. In my role as a private school administrator I have made many presentations, among my audiences are board members, families and teachers. I also have experience teaching others to excel at public speaking. The qualities I emphasize include confidence, preparedness, proper volume and pacing, and awareness of body language. I also work on how to integrate materials such as handouts and PowerPoint while speaking. Practice and constructive feedback are extremely important. When I listen to students, I sit in different places to more fully assess effectiveness

Kind and patient!

We mostly reviewed grammar, with a bit of reading comprehension. When I didn't understand a question, she didn't bluntly tell me the answer; she guided me to figuring it out on my own. I would recommend her to anyone.

Wonderful instructor

Me and Mrs. Malinda went of the strategies of testing and now I need to focus on timing so that could be able to answer the questions in quickly manner so I can finish in time

Wonderful tutor

My daughter is a strong student already, however, the work she is given is very challenging. Melinda studied with her explaining the concepts in a way that was profound.

Ashley, 2 lessons with Melinda

Great session!

Melinda taught me the blessing over the Torah before we began our study of Zechariah 7. We determined the procedure that we will follow during each session, and I can see that we have similar mindsets toward learning. She encourages analytical thought and doesn't try to repress opinions that might differ a bit from her own views. I appreciate that! This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I learned several things from her.

Yvonne, 9 lessons with Melinda

Very nice, patient and knowledgeable, very engaging.

Teaching my daughter Hebrew. We'd like her to learn in a patient and stimulating environment, casual and effective. First lesson but I think we will learn a lot.
