About Daniel

Throughout much of my time in high school I worked as a tutor, both privately and as a volunteer through the national honor society. I greatly enjoyed and excelled at this work; I've always had an aptitude for explaining mathematical subjects in ways that other students can easily understand, and find it incredibly rewarding to help my pupils work through difficult problems and improve their grades.

After recently graduating from college, I've decided to resume working as a tutor in both math and physics in order to put the knowledge and expertise I've gained to good use. I've already helped a number of students, and have become familiar with the use of online tutoring software in order to expand my ability to accommodate my clients' needs and schedules.

I worked as a private tutor for algebra and calculus during my junior and senior years in high school. During that time, I helped many students who were struggling in math classes significantly improve their grades. I also earned a minor in mathematics in college.

I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in physics, and have a high level of understanding in several advanced physics topics. I've always excelled at explaining complex concepts and topics in ways that are easy for students to understand.

I will always strive to give my students the best learning experience possible, and provide them with a supportive, stress-free environment where they can improve their knowledge and understanding. My schedule is flexible, and I work well with both in-person and online tutoring setups.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Highly Recommended Tutor!

I had to take an intermediate college algebra course in order to apply for a job. I had approximately one and a half month to get through the class. I’m 45 and had forgotten everything I’d ever learned about Algebra and without Daniel’s tutoring there is no way I would’ve been able to pass this course. He has been instrumental in me being able to understand and utilize the Algebraic operations
