Hi my name is Cyndi C. and I am a certified Elementary School teacher in Seminole County Public Schools. I currently teach all subject areas in Kindergarten through second grade at a specialized school for students with emotional/behavior disabilities. I have taught all Elementary School grades in the past. I have experience teaching all subject areas and also teaching students with many different types of disabilities from ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and emotional/behavior disabilities.
I have taught multiple grade levels with the Elementary math curriculum. I have access to resources to assist students struggling with math concepts.
I teach the Elementary ELA curriculum so I have experience teaching phonics, reading, and writing. In additional I have also taught ESL students, I am currently half way through completing my ESL certification.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
