At MIT I was also trained by teachers who received national honors for excellence in teaching. Their classes were so enjoyable that the time went by quickly. In all of my schooling I remembered the courses best where the teachers were comprehensive and made the learning enjoyable. That's the approach I take with my students. I strive to help my students want to achieve their very best that they can. I myself have been given many valuable lessons throughout my career. My intention is to pass this valuable information on to my students. I think learning should be fun and enjoyable.
I now have been teaching, coaching and mentoring for over 25 years. I have taught hundreds of students and colleagues from many different backgrounds. This includes 4 years of teaching students at the middle school, and high school. I taught physics and math at Regis college. I gave special attention to the students who seemed to be struggling. I taught math and computer programming over 15 years at the college and graduate level as a computer science professional. In this role I coached and mentored many individuals from around the world. People from diverse cultures appreciate and enjoy my interst in diversity.
I have become an expert tutor in most areas of language arts, reading, writing, GED, mathematics, physics, and computer programming. This includes Mathematical concepts, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I am happy to share my knowledge of computer programming languages and software development strategies and techniques. I offer lessons in Basic, Visual Basic, C#, C, HTML and other languages as well.
