University of Delaware (French Education)
My name is Holly and I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware with a degree and certification in French Education and a minor in History. I student taught at an academy where I learned how to effectively organize and plan lessons, units, and assessments at all high school levels. I also worked with students at the elementary level during a service learning fellowship the semester beforehand. I have been fortunate enough to study abroad in France, Nova Scotia, and just last summer in Quebec City. While I am in the process for finding a position within my field, I am looking to help others with their French and English language skills during this transition. I absolutely love my field and any welcome any opportunities to expand the French and English languages and cultures.
I have taken numerous college english courses and have strengthened my english skills through the study of the French language.
Please contact me if you are interested in improving your French and/or English writing, reading, speaking, listening skills. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
