I love to teach and I believe I have a knack for it. I love to see students learn, succeed in solving problems and enjoy their learning. I believe teaching should touch their inner self. This way they love the subject and crave to learn more. Although I am an architect and urban planner I have been good in science subjects like maths, algebra, geometry, physics, chemistry and biology. And my varied interests keep me learning all the time.
I have been a visiting faculty at CEPT University for over a decade. Last year I taught algebra I & II at MathPlus and Savio institutes in Delaware to grade 1 to 12 students and I continue to do that here. My students have expressed happiness with my teaching. I welcome feedback from students and their parents/guardians for evolving appropriate teaching strategy.
I have a 4 hour cancellation policy and I offer makeup lessons as per mutual convenience. I love to teach and I believe I have a knack for it. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am an architect, a regional planner and an urban planner with masters degree from University of Illinois. Maths and science along with several engineering courses that required knowledge of algebra 1 were required courses in the curriculum for architecture and planning. I have been teaching algebra 1 to middle and high school students for last several years.
I am an architect and urban planner with post-graduate qualification from University of Illinois. The curriculum for architecture and urban planning includes engineering subjects like math, structural design, acoustics, quantity estimation, statistics, and demography, that require high-level understanding of math including algebra.
I am suitably qualified to tutor in geometry as I have studied the subject at college and university level. I am a qualified architect and urban planner and geometry has been an integral part of architectural education. I have long experience of teaching math, and engineering subjects that involve euclidean as well as solid, that is three dimensional geometry at their core.
I would be happy to meet and personally explain my tutoring strategy to you and discuss any other issue in relation to tutoring.
