I have a BM in clarinet performance, an MA in musicology, and am currently a PhD candidate in musicology with a minor in music theory. As an experienced performer and scholar, I have training in all aspects of music including form and analysis, harmony/part-writing, post-tonal theory, music history, sight singing, and ear training!

As an educator I have taught elementary classroom music and chorus, beginning band, and private lessons. I have also tutored at the university level in music history, theory, ear training, and sight singing. I have over ten years of experience teaching clarinet and saxophone to students ages 7 through adult.
