Bio

Hi, I'm Clara!

I have a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Yale, and a master's in History and Politics from University College London. When I'm not tutoring, I work in communications at the Smithsonian.

I have seven years of experience as a writing tutor, and am comfortable tailoring lessons to a variety of learning styles or learning disabilities. I've previously worked as a leader on a high school youth exchange, and as an elementary school running coach.

Spanish Conversation

We spent the time conversing in Spanish. Clara was easy to talk with and she did a great job helping the conversation to continue. She also did a great job knowing when I wanted help and when to let me work through a correction on my own. I will gladly work with Clara again.
