I'm a DC area native who spent many years in Asia. I mastered the Japanese written/spoken language in Tokyo and studied for my master's degree in Singapore. I'm experienced in teaching English conversation to Japanese students and tutoring Japanese language lessons to western business people.
Since I studied for my master's degree after I joined the working world, I truly believe that we never stop learning in life; there is no cut off point. I enjoy helping people to better themselves. It gives me inspiration as well!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
