About Ibrahim

It is with a great anticipation that I present myself to you as an ESL/ AFL teacher. With a degree in ESL and my Arabic native language in addition to various teaching and communication certificates and several years of teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of the team.

I am very interested in education and love to interact with others. It is my goal to combine my research expertise with teaching to make a positive impact to the others. I have had the opportunity to instruct diverse groups of students, including students from the UK, USA and Egypt and a great chance to work as a cultural ambassador with the American Councils and State Department. I am challenged to be creative and open-minded and strongly interested in initiating online teaching and interaction. I have spent a long time communicating with people from different organizations all over the USA as a cultural ambassador to my country (Egypt) and did a great job and built a great network in Washington, DC. I love travel and enjoy mingling with people of as many nationalities as possible as I feel that I live with the world inside me.

What makes me an outstanding Arabic teacher is that I am a native speaker of Arabic who masters his language perfectly in all respects and levels. My long study of Arabic with the high grades I got is another point. With a degree in ESL as a major in addition to various teaching and communication certificates and 13 years of teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of the team. It's not new for me to teach Arabic as I participated very successfully with the American Department and States and the American Councils in an exchange program, TCLP, for teaching Arabic as a critical language for an academic year in the American schools. I was place in Columbia Heights Educational Campus in Washington, DC.

Arabic is A real critical language now that will add greatly to anyone who learns it. Enjoy Arabic and feel confident to master the fourth most widely-spoken language in the world.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Arabic

I am a native speaker of Arabic who masters his language perfectly. I studied Arabic for 15 years in school and my grades were perfect. I taught Arabic in CHEC High School, Washington, DC as an exchange teacher with the American Councils on the TCLP program and helped establishing the Arabic program at school designing the curriculum and planting the first seeds ever in Washington, DC.
