My specialty is in economics, statistics, and mathematics, and I can tutor in any of those up to undergraduate-level courses (and some graduate-level courses, depending on the subject). I can also help with other high school-level courses.

Linear Algebra,

Linear Algebra

I studied linear algebra in high school, then took advanced linear algebra as a freshman in college. As a field, linear algebra was developed alongside mechanics and relativity, which I studied extensively in college. For my physics major, I did research in the geometries of special relativity and Minkowski spaces, and all of the math behind that work involved metric tensors from linear algebra.

"A tutor who really knows his stuff"

My high school-aged nephew took a pre-calculus course at NOVA over the summer and met regularly with Amaan for tutoring support. My nephew reported that Amaan was able to explain problem areas clearly and thoroughly and was always very patient. My nephew has had other math tutors, and this is the first time I've heard him praise one for "knowing his stuff." In addition, Amaan consistently responded right away to questions and concerns I raised. We've had such a positive experience that we're hoping to continue with Amaan into the regular school year.
