Today was our first tutoring session with Shandell. She was awesome! She was innovative and patient with my girls and also helped me identify and articulate my children's needs. We have a solid plan of action for both girls going forward and I cannot tell you how relieved I feel to have her as a part of our educational support team!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
