For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. ESL/ESOL

I received my TEFL certificate from Georgetown University and I currently teach ESL/ESOL at the REEP Adult Education program in Arlington, VA. I have also taught at Kaplan International Colleges, and I have tutored students of all ages and from all parts of the world. My lessons are designed specifically for the needs of each student. My goal is for my students to become confident and successful readers speakers, listeners and writers of English.

TOEFL

I work with students to master each of the four TOEFL test sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking. We work on achieving comfort and confidence with the variety of question types, and we discuss/practice writing strategies for the two writing tasks.

Writing

I teach multi-level English classes at a private English language school. I work with students of all levels and from all parts of the world. I will create individual lessons for your specific needs.
