Hi! I graduated from Emory University with a BA in Spanish and co-minors in Mathematics and Global Health. At Emory, I was a peer tutor for Spanish, and I was involved in many volunteer opportunities that focused on mentoring and tutoring in elementary and middle school settings.

I tutor all levels of Spanish. I help students with writing, reading, listening skills, and developing better ways to study. I have experience tutoring all levels of Spanish. I am a fluent speaker, but not native....

Hi! I graduated from Emory University with a BA in Spanish and co-minors in Mathematics and Global Health. At Emory, I was a peer tutor for Spanish, and I was involved in many volunteer opportunities that focused on mentoring and tutoring in elementary and middle school settings.

I tutor all levels of Spanish. I help students with writing, reading, listening skills, and developing better ways to study. I have experience tutoring all levels of Spanish. I am a fluent speaker, but not native. I'm available just to practice conversation skills or to work towards succeeding in a Spanish class.

I also tutor math and English subjects. I minored in Math at Emory and took two years of AP Calculus in high school, so I understand the work needed to succeed in those atmospheres. I can tutor subjects from elementary math to Calculus. I believe that practice is key to succeeding in mathematics, so I base my tutoring approach on solving a lot of problems, and addressing a lack of understanding in the underlying theory.

Prepared and patient tutor

Carolyn came well-prepared and had clearly worked to get ready for the math chapters she would be tutoring. She was very relatable and patient in her explanations and my daughter felt very comfortable with her. They had a nice time and my daughter gained understanding.

Worth every penny!

Caroline was an amazing tutor. I have always struggled with math and get easily discouraged when I don't master something in a timely manner. She was encouraging, patient, and explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand. She was always on time, answered her phone whenever I needed to reschedule. I looked forward to the times she would come over for tutoring. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help in any subject, she was the best teacher I have ever had.

Caroline came into our home and our three daughters immediately felt at ease with her. After each child finished their first lesson I received the "thumbs up" which as any parent of teenage and pre-teen kids knows is the highest rating possible. She speaks to the kids as "equals" and friends and does not speak down to them. She is attentive and patient. We are very excited to have found her. We feel that after a long summer hiatus, using Caroline's services will greatly assist in getting the kids back up to speed. Having three daughters, we are very keen to have them interact with female role models that can demonstrate that it is possible to be "cool" and "funny" and still be good at math and the sciences.
