I am a native Arabic and French language speaker and I have been teaching both languages for over 10 years in DC area. Currently I am an Arabic language Instructor at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C. in the mornings and a I am a French language Instructor at the International Center for Language Studies D.C. in the afternoons. I also provide Moroccan dialect upon request. I have taught Arabic and French at the State Department's Foreign Service Institute and at most known language schools in the Washington DC area, such as , The Diplomatic Language Service, and the International Language Institute.
During the past few years I have developed my skills and my experiences, including: developing curricula on French and Arabic languages for all levels; creating and designing language teaching lessons for speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension; selecting appropriate lessons for students and tailoring them to their specific needs; and providing tutorial sessions to enhance students' speaking capabilities and give them confidence to achieve their goals. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
