In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

For the Analytical Writing, I will help you prepare all the essay types. From every aspect—from interpreting the statement or claim or recommendation presented, through the outlining and drafting of the essay, to the final polishing and proofing—I will help you gain the experience and confidence to succeed on this exam.

I have eight years of experience tutoring students who were preparing for the SAT exam, specializing the verbal sections. For the Writing, in the objective sections, I work generally on helping the student understand grammar, syntax and usage overall, and focus on identifying the specific point that is raised in each individual question.
