Teaching is truly at the center of my universe. I have plenty of experience through peer tutoring, and even creating a lesson plan and teaching it at my local high school while I was shadowing there. Tutoring is incredibly fun, and is the perfect opportunity to be creative with learning and have a lot of fun!!

I have been a history writer and researcher for Hartford Through Time for two semesters now, am a writer for Her Campus, and excel in my English and writing classes. I have a 4.0 average GPA in my English courses, one of which being a high-level poetry course that centered on analyzing and dissecting amazing poems. I am currently a volunteer for Words Alive!, where I am a curriculum writer for books and novels children will be able to utilize this coming school year.

As a History major, political science minor, I have a ton of experience in these fields. I have a 4.0 average GPA in these fields. My notable courses include: U.S. History Since 1877, Intro to International Relations, Political Theory, The Nuclear Age, Modern Japan, and the like. I have also taken courses in economics and psychology. Social studies, history, and political science are my passion, my hobbies, and my career goals!

I promise to make learning fun and creative! Your mind is beautiful and unique- your learning experience ought to be the same. I promise to cater my tutoring to you and make you feel comfortable and loved. We are going to have a wonderful time!!

Knowledgable and Positive Tutor

Ms. Kaitlynn tutors my daughter on U.S. History, and what she has taught her has become such a great asset to her. Before the initial class, Ms. Kaitlynn took time to discuss the objectives and teaching method with me, and that has helped my daughter jump start and start building confidence with the subject she thought she was not good at. On the teaching materials, she goes extra miles to prepare for my daughter so that each class covers the target points effectively. Not only is she a great tutor with valuable knowledge, but also she is a positive mentor to my daughter. We are grateful to have met her.
