Bio

Lady Noah knows that there are no prizes for predicting rain - prizes only for building Arks! She learned that from her husband, Noah.

My goal in tutoring is the same as hers - to focus on solutions rather than problems. I look for unique solutions that will help each of my students achieve success and build confidence. I try to build a rapport starting with where they are and I use understanding, patience and humor to gain their trust.

My goal in tutoring is the same as hers - to focus on solutions rather than problems. I look for unique solutions that will help each of my students achieve success and build confidence. I try to build a rapport starting with where they are and I use understanding, patience and humor to gain their trust.

My unique executive and academic background help me help my students solve their individual learning issues. I have been a teacher of middle school students, teens and adults over the last 30 years in a variety of academic and business subjects; I cater to and customize my teaching style to the needs of each of my students.

I also have extensive experience with special needs students including those with Anxiety and Asperger's Syndrome. Having a grandson with Asperger's has opened my eyes to the unique needs of each of my special needs students.

I love helping students master English, History and Business subjects. Organizing, problem solving, scheduling and learning good study skills are also part of my tutoring. My excellent references from students, parents, other teachers and guidance counselors are available to anyone thinking of using me as a tutor.
