University of New Haven (Electrical Engineering)
University of New Haven (Master's)
I have a master's degree in electrical engineering, and a GPA of 3.7 in both bachelor of science and master's degree. I have been tutoring since I was in high school. During my school days, I would tutor my classmates and my siblings.
I officially started tutoring five years ago at a tutoring center at my university. I was hired as a Math Tutor , but the director of the tutoring center observed my tutoring skills and knowledge in the other courses such as General Chemistery 1, Physics, Engineering and Science, and Electrical Engineering courses and asked me to tutor all these courses. I have also received International Level 1 certified tutor award by CRLA tutoring program in 2012.
In addition, I was a Teaching Assistant for engineering courses such as Fundamentals of Analog Devices and Modeling of Engineering Systems at my university. The Coordinator for Electrical Engineering at the university offered me the job of teaching Fundamentals of Analog Devices course after completing my masters, because the students in that course were very happy under my teaching assistant-ship. Consequently, I am currently working as an Adjunct Professor. Tutoring/teaching has been my passion, and I love helping students.
Math is fun! I love explaining math problems, with example. I help students according to their level of understanding. If I notice that a student does not understand something, I explain it in a different way until they understand. Usually, if a student doesn't understand any problem, he/she is lacking in basics, so I try to explain them the basic part to make them feel comfortable with the subject.
I am generally available from 9 am to 11 pm. I can travel to students or meet them online. Contact me for more details.
I look forward to hear from you! I have a master's degree in electrical engineering, and a GPA of 3.7 in both bachelor of science and master's degree. I have been tutoring since I was in high school. During my school days, I would tutor my classmates and my siblings.

Syed taught my daughter how to reason through and apply physics examples in solving problems in a relaxed and reassuring manner. He clearly understands and enjoys teaching physics and possesses a wealth of knowledge. He was punctual, always courteous, and flexible in his availability. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Syed as a tutor!
Syed was helpful in explaining the concepts behind the physics equations he worked with me on and provided a helpful pneumonic.
Went out of his way to help me at 3 am. After he done some problems with me, I was able to understand what appeared to be daunting Math to actually be as simple as 2+2. Became much more ready for exam. highly Recommend!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been tutoring math for about 10 years. I can help with any kind of math problem.
I have been tutoring calculus for 5 years.
I have received an A+ in both the chemistry courses!
I have taken differential equation at college and received an A (almost an A+). I have been tutoring this course since then. I have applied this course to my major courses and found it very helpful and interesting. It is one of my favorite courses. I would be happy to help students with this course.
I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.7 and a major GPA of 3.8. Through out my Bachelors and Masters, I have tutored many Electrical Engineering courses. Currently, I am teaching Circuit Analysis at University of New Haven as an Adjunct Professor.
Physics have been one of my favorite subjects. I've enjoyed Physics both as a student and as a tutor. I tutored physics at my University for 2 years. I have applied physics to my major courses and I think it is an amazing course.
I have about 5 years experience tutoring mathematics. I am a level 1 certified tutor. I love tutoring this course. It is fun!
More than 5 years tutoring experience at UNH!
