I have tutored students on multiple occasions at Central Connecticut State University. In the Spring '16 semester, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant in two mathematics courses (Discrete Mathematics and Introduction to Real Analysis.)

My responsibility included grading homework assignments, exams, and working in-class with students

I met with Sean for a couple weeks to review and get ready for my college linear algebra final exam. He was well prepared and knowledgeable and helped me prepare for the exam which I passed. He went above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommend him as a tutor!

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from CCSU.

I volunteered as a TA in a Discrete Mathematics course at Central Connecticut State University. This course covered propositional logic, set theory, mathematical induction, the division algorithm, modular arithmetic, etc. The main focus was understanding what a mathematical proof is and how to develop your own proofs. Proof writing was incorporated into each of the topics described above. My duties involved grading homework assignments, many of which were proofs and assisting students in the classroom.

I completed an undergraduate degree in mathematics, which required me to take an introduction to linear algebra course. This course covered most of the basic linear algebra topics. This included vector spaces, systems of linear equations, determinants, linear transformations, and matrices. I received an A in this course.
