I am a mature hardworking lady willing to go the extra mile to teach Spanish. I have taught for a few years and I assure you that most people can learn Spanish without moving to a foreign country. I was an Assistant Principal, and I have worked with both children and adult students in the past. It is my personal and professional experience that we all can acquire a second language with an easy and consistent methodology, while having fun at the same time.

Carmen is the epitome of patient. She takes great care in finding out what you need, and takes the time to make sure you grasp the language. She was there, and if she was going to be late she would call beforehand. She never left me hanging. Carmen is knowledgeable, inviting, affable, and thorough. A true tutor.
Carmen has been a great tutor for my son in Spanish. She motivates and encourages him and it shows in his school work.
Carmen is very helpful and is very patient with my daughter. She is easy to contact and is always on time.
Carmen has agreed to tutor my 19 month old daughter in Spanish. This is difficult because we do not speak Spanish in the household. Carmen has shown to be flexible and works with my daughter at her level.
Carmen is very professional and always timely. She provides feedback and we strongly recommend her.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
