“**Tutor Who Delivers**”

Education has always been a very important aspect in every adult's life. However, there are always times where many of us feel that we can't communicate with a teacher or just have a difficult time with the information being presented. I believe that my tutoring methods specifically help those who simply want to understand the material in a way

I commissioned Charles to improve my son's SAT math score. The result - score went from 450 to 620 thus achieving passing score to most good colleges. As a side effect my son's senior school math grade went from C to A. Thank you, Charles, from both of us.

Charles K. is, without a doubt, the exceptional tutor. He is extraordinary. Aside from being outstanding in teaching math, he has the ability to help students build confidence in their math skills. He is a professional- dependable, exceptionally dedicated, and true to his word. Even though he was out of country, he still managed to reply to my first email within two hours. When he said he would contact my son on a certain date, he did. And, for my son's lesson, he was there on time. After the lesson, he gave me immediate feedback via email. Aside from being an impeccable tutor, Charles is the perfect role model for my son. I trust Charles K. implicitly and know that he will use all of his talents while tutoring my son.

He connected well with my daughter learning algebra. Had good insight to how she learns and made suggestions to help her with future sessions and how to improve her skills.

Charles is just what we needed.

My son struggles with Algebra 1 and needed a tutor who is patient, kind, and could explain algebra in a way that my son could understand. I really like that Charles tries to understand how my son interprets algebra so that he can teach in a way that he understands. My son was comfortable with Charles from the first day he arrived which was important to me. My son is at ease because Charles is patient with him and speaks with a calm friendly voice which puts my sons anxiety at bay so that he can receive the information needed to learn.

Thank you Charles.

Charles is an excellent tutor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable, well prepared, prompt and very courteous. He explains calculus to my daughter in a way that makes it so much easier to understand. He has increased her confidence and her grades, and goes above and beyond to help. Thanks, Charles!

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have tutored students through all of the high school mathematics levels from Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Pre-Calc since 2007 during my time at UConn.

I have tutored students through all of the high school mathematics levels from Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Pre-Calc since 2007 during my time at UConn.

I have passed two courses in this subject at the University of Connecticut. One through general physics and one through the math department. This is also required of my degree (Mathematics B.S.) which I earned in Dec. of 2009.

I would be more than happy to upload my transcript or a copy of my degree in order to certify myself in this subject.

I have passed three courses in linear algebra at the University of Connecticut. One through the specific course "Linear Algebra" and several others that build on the foundation set in this class such as number theory and numerical analysis I & II. This is also required of my degree (Mathematics B.S.) which I earned in Dec. of 2009.

I have two years experience in teaching SAT math from certified methods using the official SAT blue book and supplemented with additional drills provided by several other books. I recommend purchasing the official SAT study guide (blue book) to supplement studying outside of the lessons.

I have completed all undergraduate stat courses up through Statistical Methods. Currently this is at around the STAT 3000 Level at UConn. If you require a more advanced level of statistics tutoring please contact me directly and I will gladly elaborate on any Stat subjects I can be of help with.
