Hi, I'm Rachel, and I would love to become your tutor! After receiving a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, I spent a year teaching ESL to freshmen and sophomores at a university in Harbin, China. I then spent two years teaching English literature to middle school students in a private school in New York City. In 2016, I taught a summer SAT Reading and Writing course then completed a Master's degree in Education, specializing in English Language Teaching. I have also done independent tutoring for the past 8 years. All that is to say that I am confident my education, experience, and friendly personality will meet your tutoring needs!

What I love the most about tutoring is having the opportunity to experience students having a "light bulb" moment, when the topics that once confused and/or frustrated them begin to make sense. I strive to help students achieve their goals with an encouraging demeanor and engaging lesson plans.

Please do not hesitate to contact me and schedule a lesson if you are interested. I look forward to hearing from you!
