I love teaching. I have experienced other careers, but none was as fulfilling as teaching. I want to help people to learn, and to truly understand. I currently teach both in the classroom and as a one-on-one tutor. I teach all students as I would want my own child to be taught.
My experience teaching mathematics encompasses most subjects and all ability levels. I am currently teaching a Geometry course for students who are academically challenged, a Pre Calculus course , and AP Calculus BC.
I have 18 years of experience teaching most math topics and all abilities (basic through AP). I am a certified math teacher in CT.
Students regularly seek me out for help. I am known to be very accessible. I love teaching. I have experienced other careers, but none was as fulfilling as teaching. Carol helped two of my daughters with midterm review. One for Algerbra 2 and one for Pre Calculus. She was wonderful at trying to work with our schedule and my daughters really like her.
Carol has been great working with our daughter on AP Calculus. She was patient and knowledgable in her subject and helped her prepare for the AP Collegeboard exam. She gained a lot of confidence from working with Carol.
She is great at explaining concepts and how to fully understand them step by step! Would recommend her to everyone!!
Her high school courses are very advanced. Keep up the good work. She said she is learning a lot from you. Thank you.
Carol got my daughter back on track with one lesson! She was preparing for a midterm and Carol was able to explain the concepts so my daughter could understand them! Will definitely use again!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
