As I approach 30 years as a lawyer, I wanted to help others prepare for law school, the business of law, and, the proper course choices that are helpful for the LSAT, success in entering and completing law school, the Bar examination, and, your career. You can't start too early, and, who better to help than someone with decades of experience. I was educated in public school on the Connecticut shoreline, went on to Wesleyan, and, law school in Boston. I continue to maintain my law license and have previously taught for several years at Newbury College in Massachusetts.
As a local politician for seven years, two of those years as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, local television coverage twice monthly required public speaking for those in attendance and at home. I have addressed local officials in Boston on topics such as the law and affordable housing for which my committee drafted bylaws and legislation for the Department of Housing (DHCD) in a community development series. There were over 200 in attendance. I have lectured on zoning issues, served as a master of ceremonies in public fundraisers with over 700 in attendance, and, for almost 30 years have been an active trial attorney appearing and speaking before Judges and Jurors in both District Court and Superior court.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been an attorney in Massachusetts (actively practicing) for the past 28 years. I have also been admitted to practice law in the First Federal Circuit for the District of Massachusetts. I received a juris docteur from New England Law in Boston in 1987. I passed the bar exam on the first administration of same that year. I also taught aspiring paralegals for Newbury College for approximately five years. I received instruction from the BAR/BRI and SMH programs at the time of study for the July 1987 exam.

Hands on protection of defendants and competent representation through the criminal process in the District and Superior Courts in Massachusetts. I have represented clients on matters from OUI/DWI, larceny, assault & battery, and, two child molestation cases. I am familiar with the due process rights and procedure of the accused as well as post conviction sentences, CORI, probation and parole.

I have prepared personal, business, partnership, estate, trust, and, 941 quarterly returns for my own law practice in compliance with wage laws. I am familiar with several forms, depreciation schedules, rent, royalty and retirement reporting. I am quite proficient at all Schedules, current law and business tax returns.
