Hello! I have more than 3 years of tutoring/teaching experience, and I also worked at two language centers in the past.
I attended college for 4 years in Japan, and graduated in 2011. I am fluent in English and Japanese, and am willing to tutor in both languages.
My major was English Literature, so I would love to be your tutor for Reading and Writing if that is what you are looking for.
I have tutored many children who are between the age of 4 and 10, and I love teaching both boys and girls!
I worked in Singapore for more than a year, and I taught a couple of children who needed help with English. I helped some adults practice speaking English as well, so I am capable of teaching English to any beginners who are looking for a tutor to learn more and improve English.
I can tutor children up to 6th grade with Reading, Math, Writing, etc., foreigners with ESL/Beginner's English, and children or adults interested in learning Japanese.
I would be happy to teach you Japanese if you are interested! However, please note that my Japanese lessons will be based on pronunciation/speaking (and a little bit of writing if preferred) for those who have just started learning. Beginner to Pre-Intermediate level will be suitable.
Certifications I have are TESOL, TEYL, and a babysitting certificate from American Red Cross. My past experiences are all related to education, so I am looking forward to meeting many students who are willing to learn and enjoy each lesson with me!! Hello! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have many years of teaching experiences, and most of the children I taught were in Elementary school. I was a tutor for many children at a learning center, and I helped them with Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and other major subjects. I also have a specialized certificate, Teaching English to Young Learns.
