I am an experienced Russian and Hebrew tutor. I studied at the Open university of Israel. I was a Hebrew tutor at the Yeshiva Academy (a daily Hebrew school) of Harrisburg, PA. I worked there with the children of different ages and backgrounds. I also taught the history of the State of Israel and the Jewish holidays. In a local area, I substitute as a Hebrew teacher.
The Russian language is my native language.
I am proud of the fact that I not only pass the technical knowledge and practical experience of those two languages to my students but also teach them how to love and appreciate those rich cultures and traditions.
As a tutor, I am trying to make each lesson interesting, useful and unforgettable.
When I work with a group of students, I also make sure that each and every child learns and not is neglected because he or she is not alone in the classroom. I understand that some kids may be shy to ask a question even if they didn't catch something. So, it is important from the beginning to create an atmosphere where everybody can feel free to be himself or herself.
I love working with kids and also adults. Being a good teacher, working even with one student at a time, seeing my students advance in their knowledge are what I am about.
I also have a business degree from University of Connecticut. I am an experienced Russian and Hebrew tutor. I studied at the Open university of Israel. I was a Hebrew tutor at the Yeshiva Academy (a daily Hebrew school) of Harrisburg, PA. I worked there with the children of different ages and
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
In 2003 I graduated from University of Connecticut Business School with a high GPA. There I took numerous business-related classes like accounting, finance, management, marketing, business law and others. I was blessed with professors who had years of experience in the business area. I also studied together with people who were themselves owners of small businesses. I heard and learned a lot about their concerns and problems as they tried to manage their companies.
At UCONN, I received a departmental award in Business and Technology. I completed some MBA classes as well. After graduating I worked in a hedge fund in an accounting/finance department. In general, I can say about myself that, "I am all business." I have a required experience and knowledge in order to tutor and help others.
I think business is a very important subject. This importance I am planning to pass to my future students.
I graduated from University of Connecticut (Business School). My GPA was 3.83 out of 4.0. I took some MBA School classes. I also have a teaching experience. I worked as a full-time teacher in a daily private school working with kids of different backgrounds from elementary school to high-school. I also studied educational psychology at the Open University of Israel. I worked in a preschool in Stamford, CT. I work as a substitute teacher in the local area schools. So, I have a necessary knowledge and a required experience.
In general, I love working with children. I enjoy helping them learn and grow.
Some additional information about myself: I love to paint. I exhibited some of my paintings at Stamford's Art Gallery. I also possess excellent analytical, team-building and organizational skills.
I have a very profound knowledge of the modern Hebrew language. I am very fluent in reading, writing, and comprehending of this language. I lived in the State of Israel. I was a student at the Open University of Israel. I worked in the U.S. as a Hebrew teacher at a daily Hebrew School. However, I don't stop with what I know. I constantly enrich my Hebrew.
I love passing my knowledge of the language to others.
I graduated from University of Connecticut (Business School). I took several marketing classes. For example, I studied "Introduction to Marketing Management" and "Marketing on the Internet." I also completed an MBA marketing class "Market-Driven Management." For all those classes I got a solid "A." While studying at UCONN, I was blessed with wonderful teachers who had many years of experience in the marketing field.
After graduating, I worked in a hedge fund in an accounting/finance department. However, I also (almost on a daily basis) closely worked with the representatives of the marketing department. So, for tutoring purposes I have a required experience and knowledge.
In my opinion, marketing is a very interesting subject. I would like to introduce it to others so that they would be able to see for themselves why it is so.
The Russian language is my native language. The Russian history is very rich. The Russian literature is a very rich one. Some Russian literature works, for example, "War and Peace" by Tolstoy are taught at American schools. I know that some Americans want to learn the Russian language to read those books in original. I can certainly help them in that.
