Hello! I am currently an undergraduate student at Yale University, working towards a major in Electrical Engineering. I have taken a variety of Math and Science classes at the University, through calculus and linear algebra and chemistry. I am a strong believer that STEM subjects are best learned one on one, through sets of problems that reinforce the concepts taught in class. I also know that learning is most productive when the subject and instructor are engaging, and have learned from world class professors at Yale, as well as from exceptional teachers in an inner city public high school. My goal is to make the material something the student wants to learn, or at the very least is fun to learn.

I can also help with college prep, whether that mean PSAT/SAT prep or application help. During my senior year in high school, I was accepted to multiple Ivy Leagues and other top colleges including Rice, Swarthmore, and Johns Hopkins.

I scored a 5 on AP Calculus in high school, and have also tutored Algebra as a high school junior/senior. For SAT math, I have countless amounts of practice and real exams under my belt, and have made a max of 780 on the subject.

I have taken and aced AP Chemistry in high school, and taken and done well in General Chemistry at Yale, including labs. Chemistry is personally a favorite of mine, mostly due to having an exceptional teacher in high school which made the material engaging and loved to work one on one with students.

Given my background, I want to offer incredibly competitive rates, and am experienced in taking exceptional care of students who may be worried about their chances of success in school/admission to college based on their first generation/low income backgrounds. Please contact me if you are interested!

Timely, Patient, and Helpful Tutor

Cesar immediately helped me identify where I needed help. He then worked with me to better understand what I needed to get on the right track. We were able to establish a plan that included the acquisition of the right tools and how and when I should use them. In one session he's made me confident in my ability to achieve my goal. I'm looking forward to my next session.
