Boston University/Stony Brook University
I am a graduate from Stony Brook University with a degree in Biology. As for now, I am looking for a part time job and think tutoring will be a benefit. My goal is to give students some valuable training so that they can achieve the best when applying it to real circumstances. I am just to beginning tutor, so I don't have any reviews on my skills and accomplishments, but I can give you my trust if given the chance.
Although I majored in Biology and very well in it, I find my best subjects to be in Spanish and Math, specifically algebra. I studied Spanish for seven years and have excelled in it. I also did very well in all of my English, chemistry and math courses and can tutor any sort of math up to Algebra II. I am determined to benefit both students and parents with my services and will provide supplemental materials and practice questions that will help students with their skills. In my opinion, students always come first before anything else. My goal is to help the student achieve the maximum and feel accomplished after each session. If you have questions or would like more information, I am always available for contact. In addition, for anyone who appears to be far away or cannot travel but would like to work remotely, I'm also willing to do that as well. I enjoy helping people and want to give everyone an equal opportunity.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
