About Kenneth

Ever since Ken scored a 36 on the ACT during his freshman year of high school, he has helped prepare students for standardized tests. While still in high school, he not only tutored other high school students for the ACT and SAT, but college students preparing for the GMAT and GRE tests. Later, when he worked as a test-prep instructor at a summer test-prep boot camp, he developed his own teaching curriculum and lessons for a group of thirty students. Ken received the highest teacher evaluations of all the instructors participating that year.

Ken's teaching philosophy relies on making the material memorable and helping students develop content mastery. He often uses humorous examples to help students remember the material and stay engaged in lessons. While tutoring, he pays particular attention to the thought process students use in solving problems. By identifying the errors in these thought patterns, students can see greater improvement than simply relying on tips and tricks.

Ken is currently a graduate student at Yale University studying Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry.
