Hallmark Institute of Photography (Graduate Coursework)
I am a graduate from Hallmark Institute of Photography as well as a fine art graduate. My background is as a working professional in the imaging industry.
My tutoring is mainly a hands on experience through one-one-one practical assignments that back up lessons. Photography lessons include photographing and using equipment out in field. Digital Imaging lessons with Adobe imaging products such as Photoshop and Lightroom are one-on-one lessons with students demonstrating skills learned with practical assignments during sessions.
My lessons include some of the following in photography, video and digital imaging.
-Basic digital SLR photography (introducing basic photography skills and operating DSLR cameras)
-Black and white darkroom photography (print making, 35mm and medium format film developing)
-Advanced lighting ( Working with flash and studio lighting on location and in the studio, getting more out of Speedlites with of camera lighting)
-Adobe Photoshop (retouching, editing, compositing)
-Adobe Lightroom (Digital RAW workflow, editing, archiving)
-Basic DSLR Video (using DSLR for filming, documentary)

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
