I was born and educated in Italy, I have a degree in "Administrative Services" and degree in "Business and Tourism Affairs" from the Italian Education Department with 21 years of experience in government business and a particular inclination in the Italian literature and culture.
In 1996 I have moved with my wife (American) and kids to USA. Soon in this country I have started to help many Italian-American and American friends for their travels, business or school and college classes, teaching them Italian language from the beginner to the advanced
level. I have experience in Italian radio programs, actually i speak in a weekly Italian program here in Connecticut.
I have many contacts in Italy: in Milan, Rome, Florence and Sicily to help you in your travels for business, tourism, art or study.
I speak and teach Italian like an Italian because I was born in Italy, studied in Italy, graduated in Italy and culturally formed in Italy and I can help you in "Conversational Italian" to speak as an Italian speaks

I had my first Italian lesson with Aldo. He is an excellent teacher. He was very enthusiastic and patient. He spoke mostly in Italian during the lesson so I can grasp the language. I also like the fact that he was born and raised in Italy and knows the culture. I hadn't studied with a male Italian teacher before; however I know I made the right decision. I am looking forward to my next lesson. I give him a 5 Star rating!
Thank you Dawn you encourage me so much. The love and the knowledge of the Italian Language and culture is the "propellent" that makes me capable to teach. It is a delight for me.
Aldo is the perfect tutor, because he lived in Italy for many years, and is completely fluent in the language, and knows exactly how the Italians really speak and things that you might hear! He gives great guidance, is very patient, and can target exactly what you need help with the most - highly recommended!
Aldo is a native speaker of Italian and I work to keep up with him. I am learning a lot. He is also very friendly and enjoyable to work with. I enjoyed reading about regions of Italy and getting his personal experience in the region as well.
Thank you Charlie, when, in next month of July, you will get to Italy, I am pretty sure that you will get in a country that now you know a little better than before and that you will feel more at your ease. Anyway say "Arrivederci" to Italy for me.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
